What Hims and Hers GLP-1 programs cost in 2026

A Hims or Hers GLP-1 plan costs two things: a weight-loss membership of $39 for the first month and $149 a month after that, plus the medication, which starts at $149 a month in cash [1] [2]. At the lowest advertised prices, that adds up to $188 for the first month and $298 a month after that [1] [2].

Hims and Hers are two brands of one company, Hims & Hers Health, and they run the same weight-loss program; the company’s announcements point readers to both brands’ weight-loss pages [4].

The two parts of the bill

The membership and the medication are billed separately, and you cannot get the medication without the membership [1] [3].

The membership includes round-the-clock access to providers, personalized nutrition guidance, clinical check-ins and a peer community [5]. The company says splitting the medication from care fees lets members seek HSA or FSA reimbursement [6], though eligibility depends on your plan [7]. A prescription is not guaranteed: the company says the membership fee does not include or guarantee one [1].

What they prescribe, and the drug prices

Since March 2026 the program offers Wegovy pills, Wegovy injections and Ozempic injections [8]. Ozempic is not FDA-approved for weight loss, which the company itself notes; providers may prescribe it off-label [9]. Its providers can also send Zepbound vial and KwikPen prescriptions, and Foundayo prescriptions, to Lilly’s LillyDirect pharmacy, where customers pay LillyDirect’s self-pay prices [10].

That makes the Lilly drug prices easy to check. LillyDirect lists Zepbound from $299 a month at the starting dose [11], rising to $449 a month at the top dose when refilled within 45 days [12]. Foundayo starts at $149 a month [13]. For Wegovy and Ozempic, Novo Nordisk says the company charges the same self-pay prices as other telehealth platforms [14]. In other words, for these drugs the medication price is meant to match what you would pay elsewhere; the membership is the extra.

The GLP-1 list on the Hims weight-loss page, which we read in a browser on September 29, 2026 because the page blocks automated reading, gives these monthly medication prices: the Wegovy pill from $149 [23], the Wegovy pen from $199 [24], Zepbound vials from $299 [25] and KwikPens from $299 [26], the Foundayo pill from $149 [27], the Ozempic pill from $149 [28], Ozempic from $199 [29], and Mounjaro [30] and Zepbound [31] at $1,899. It also lists a “Wegovy Pill Microdosing Plan” from $149 a month [32]. These prices cover the medication only [33]; the membership is on top.

What about compounded semaglutide?

Until 2026, Hims and Hers sold compounded semaglutide, which is what FDA’s 2025 warning letters were about [17]. In March 2026 Novo Nordisk announced that Hims & Hers would stop advertising compounded GLP-1s and would let existing patients move to FDA-approved drugs [15]. The company’s own March 2026 announcement still describes its semaglutide offerings as “branded and compounded” [16], so compounded drugs are not advertised but may not have disappeared entirely.

The FDA warning letters and their status

In August 2025 FDA reviewed the Hims and Hers websites and found both offering compounded drugs, including semaglutide [17] [18]. It sent a warning letter to each brand dated September 9, 2025 [19]. FDA said the claims implied the compounded products were the same as an FDA-approved product when they are not [20]. In February 2026 FDA again named Hims & Hers among companies mass-marketing non-approved compounded GLP-1s as alternatives to approved drugs [21].

FDA issues a close-out letter only after it has checked a company’s corrective actions [22]. When we checked FDA’s warning letter database for this page, no close-out letter was listed for either letter, so we treat them as unresolved.
