What it is

Found is an online weight-care program with its own clinicians, coaching and an app. Its brand-name plan covers the prescription and the membership, and the medicine is billed separately [1]. Found lists monthly provider check-ins and support around the clock [11].

How you see the clinician depends on how you pay. With insurance, video visits are required and each one is billed to your plan at your copay, which Found puts at around $30, on top of the plan price [6]. Paying cash, care is mostly by text at a flat monthly price [7].

What it prescribes

On the brand-name plan, the prescription can go to a pharmacy of your choice, paid by cash or insurance, or to NovoCare or LillyDirect for cash pay [3]. Found says it offers insurance coverage for both care and medication [10].

Found also sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide plans, with the drug included in the price [12]. This review, and our price table, cover only the brand-name route.

What it costs

The brand-name plan is priced per month and billed every 4 weeks [1]. These are Found’s published rates [2]:

Because billing runs every 4 weeks, a year has thirteen charges, not twelve [2]. Labs, where needed, and the medicine are not included [4]. The insurance prices are not available to people on Medicare, Medicaid or other government plans [5].

For the medicine, Found’s pricing page shows Wegovy from $650 a month [8]. NovoCare’s own page lists Wegovy pens at $349 a month after the intro fills [9], so check the makers’ pages before you pay. Signing up and cancelling

Either side can cancel at any time [15], and a cancellation takes effect within 24 hours [16]. From that date you lose access to providers and prescriptions [17], so arrange refills elsewhere first. Our cancelling guide has a checklist.

You get a full refund of the membership fee if you cancel within 3 days of buying or before your first medical consultation [18]. Renewal payments are not refunded, and Found suggests cancelling at least 48 hours before renewal [19]. Medicine and lab kits cannot be returned once shipped [20]. Found’s terms refer to an original commitment term, during which the fee will not rise [23]. The pages we read do not say what happens if you leave a longer plan early, so ask before you choose one.

Safety and regulatory record

GLPLens searched FDA’s warning-letter database in September and found no letter to Found about GLP-1 products. The brand-name drugs it prescribes are filled by outside pharmacies or the makers’ own programs [3].

Found’s own offer terms say compounded medicines are not FDA-approved or evaluated for safety or efficacy [13], and FDA says the same about compounded drugs in general [14]. Because Found sells them, we do not link to Found. See which GLP-1s FDA has approved in our approved uses guide.

Who it suits, and who should look elsewhere

Found suits people with commercial insurance that covers its visits in their state, who want regular check-ins and coaching around a brand-name prescription. The 1-month cash plan also lets you try it without a long commitment [2].

Look elsewhere if you are on Medicare or Medicaid and want the insurance rate, if you want a company that sells brand-name drugs only, or if you want the drug price included. Found says prescriptions are not available in all states [21], and it does not publish a full list.
