Henry Meds review

What it is

Henry Meds is a cash-pay telehealth company that treats weight, hormones and erectile dysfunction. For weight loss it sells compounded GLP-1s only, filled by licensed US compounding pharmacies [1]. Its pages say medication is filled by a compounding pharmacy when a provider prescribes it [14].

What it prescribes

Compounded GLP-1s, made for each patient in a 503A compounding pharmacy or a 503B outsourcing facility [2]. Its weight pages include compounded semaglutide and compounded oral tirzepatide tablets [13]. We found no Wegovy, Zepbound or Foundayo anywhere on its site.

Henry’s FAQ says its compounded drugs are “not FDA-approved in the same way as commercial drugs” but use FDA-approved ingredients [11]. FDA’s own wording is plainer: compounded drugs are not FDA approved, and the agency does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are sold [12]. A compounded injection or tablet is a different product from a brand-name drug.

Henry says patients must be between 18 and 70 to be considered for GLP-1 treatment [9].

What it costs

Henry publishes one number: GLP-1 treatment starts at $179 a month, covering provider visits, medication, supplies and ongoing support [3]. It does not list prices by drug, dose or plan length on the pages we read, so you will see the real price only when you sign up.

Signing up and cancelling

Henry offers monthly plans as well as longer plans for some treatments, and says you can cancel any time [4]. On a multi-month plan, you may have to pay the rest of the balance unless a provider finds a medical reason you cannot continue [5].

Most people get their first shipment within 8 to 10 business days of the provider visit, then every 45 days for injections or 90 days for tablets [7]. Deliveries to California can take longer because of extra testing rules there [8]. Our cancellation guide lists what to check before you commit.

Where it operates

Henry asks patients to live in, or have an address in, a state it supports [10]. We found no list of those states.

Safety and regulatory record

GLPLens searched FDA’s warning-letter database in September and found no letter to Henry Meds. Because it sells only compounded GLP-1s, GLPLens does not link to Henry Meds.

Who it suits, and who should look elsewhere

Henry may suit someone who has already decided on a compounded GLP-1 and wants a single monthly bill with no insurance involved.
