MEDvidi review

What it is

MEDvidi is an online clinic that started in mental health and now also runs weight-loss visits by video. You book a visit with a licensed prescriber, and if the prescriber decides a medicine fits, the prescription is sent to a pharmacy you pick, either for pickup or mail delivery [7]. MEDvidi does not sell the medicine itself.

What it prescribes

Its weight-loss page lists brand-name GLP-1 medicines by name, including Ozempic, Wegovy and Rybelsus (semaglutide) [14] and Mounjaro and Zepbound (tirzepatide) [1]. Next to semaglutide it advertises help with insurance coverage [14]. The same list also covers older, non-GLP-1 options such as phentermine and orlistat. What it costs

MEDvidi publishes visit prices, not drug prices. A first weight-loss visit is $195 [2], a first visit bundled with one follow-up is $249 [3], and a follow-up on its own is $159 [4]. The medicine is paid at the pharmacy, and MEDvidi says that price depends on location, coupons and whether your insurance pays there [8]. MEDvidi does not accept insurance for its own visits [6].

Signing up and cancelling

There is no membership to cancel. The FAQ says the clinic has no subscription model and you book one visit at a time [5]. Timing still matters: cancel or move a visit less than 8 hours ahead and you lose the fee and pay a $50 charge [11]. If a pharmacy will not fill the prescription, MEDvidi does not refund the visit [12].

Where it operates

Its home page lists 35 states, from Arizona to Wyoming [9]. Several large states, such as New Jersey, are not on that list. The weight-loss page adds that some states require an in-person visit before these medicines can be prescribed [10].

Safety and regulatory record

We found no FDA warning letter addressed to MEDvidi in FDA’s warning letter database. Do not confuse it with MEDVi, a different telehealth company with a similar name: FDA sent MEDVi a warning letter in February 2026 about how its website promoted compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide [13].

Who it suits, and who should look elsewhere

MEDvidi fits someone who wants a prescriber for Wegovy, Zepbound or a similar brand-name drug, already has a pharmacy or drug plan, and prefers paying per visit to paying a monthly fee. Look elsewhere if you want the medicine bundled into one monthly price, if your state is not on the list, or if you need the visit itself billed to insurance.
